Bio

Brianne Walsh is a Senior Science Communicator for the IAN group. She has experience in the direction, preparation, and production of science communication products, environmental assessments, and ecosystem health report cards. She is experienced in data analysis and synthesis, and can effectively source, coordinate, and interpret scientific and technical content for a variety of audiences. Her role in inclueds faciltation of report card and ecosystem assessment workshops, working with stakeholder groups, and teching scientific communication workshops. Most recently, she was invovled in a four-year, national scale effort synthesizing the impacts of ecological drought at each of the eight regional USGS/DOI Climate Adaptation Science Centers. Science synthesis and communication products developed as part of that project are available here. Ms. Walsh received her academic training at Elmira College (B.S.), and the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (M.S.).
