Dynamics of Marine Fishery Ecosystems

Chesapeake Biological Laboratory is currently seeking a PhD graduate student to work on a new NSF/NOAA CAMEO project on the dynamics of fishery ecosystems in the northwest Atlantic. The successful applicant would join a multi-investigator team working on analyses of existing abundance, distribution and diet data from state and federal surveys. The position requires demonstrated, strong quantitative skills in statistical analysis, geostatistics or population modeling.
The student would be enrolled in the Marine, Estuarine and Environmental Science program at the University of Maryland, but would be resident at CBL in Solomons. A competitive salary and benefits package is available, including full tuition remission.
