The University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES), Chesapeake Biological Laboratory (CBL), is accepting applications for a Faculty Research Assistant to assist with studying the response of black sea bass to natural and anthropogenic sounds as a model species within a large aquarium tank. Duties will include preparation and set-up of equipment within a large tank, assisting with data collection, adn report writing. Applicants should have good writing skills, willing to work at a research aquarium and work with a range of video and acoustic equipment. This position is for 6 months dependent upon funding and includes funding for subsidized health coverage through the State of MD.
