 and author of over thirty children’s books\, will present and discuss rema
 rkable success stories of how youth learn through their own solution-orien
 ted actions within their communities.  The presentation will include a scr
 eening of a film from the Young Voices for the Planet series.   This famil
 y-friendly event will be of interest to students\, scientists\, science co
 mmunicators\, educators\, teens\, pre-teens\, and upper elementary age chi
 ldren.  The event is free and open to the public with limited seating avai
 lable.
