       \n\n\nOur hands-on activities encourage young people to be curious a
 nd learn about the environment and how they fit into our place on the plan
 et.  Activities at Toadfish Adventures include: fishing\, canoeing\, oyste
 r hatchery tour\, marsh mucking\, plant and animal ID hikes\, scavenger hu
 nts\, arts and crafts\, and oyster tonging from our mini watermen’s boat (
 on land) that kids can climb aboard and replicate this still practiced har
 vesting method.  Plus\, on Wednesday night participants will enjoy a cooko
 ut\, campfire\, s'mores!  All activities are based at the Environmental Ed
 ucation Center at HPL\n\n\n\nToadfish Adventures run Monday through Friday
 \, with 2 separate age groups that run over 2 consecutive weeks\; rising 1
 st graders to 9 years old August 8 – 12 and students 10-14 years old Augus
 t 15 - 19.  The cost is $250.00 per session. \n\n\n\nToadfish Adventures i
 s led by Bryan Gomes\, who has over 2 decades of environmental education e
 xperience and certifications\, and has held management positions with 2 re
