              \n\n\nAs part of its 50th anniversary\, the Horn Point Labora
 tory is hosting a series of six Summer Talks on Tuesdays beginning June 20
  from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the High Spot in Cambridge\, Maryland. With slides
  and conversation\, faculty members will share their research on a variety
  of topics to explore the science of the waters that surround us.  Talks a
 re free. Registration is encouraged as the space is limited.  \n\n\n\n'We 
 are excited to bring our latest science to the Cambridge community and to 
 share what we are learning about the natural world around us\,' said Horn 
 Point Laboratory Director Mike Sieracki.\n\n\n\nJuly 25: From plankton to 
 plastics: The Chesapeake under a microscope. Meet the tiniest creatures in
  our local waterways\, and learn how they are connected to our everyday li
 ves with Jamie Pierson \n\n\n\nREGISTER\n\n\n\nHorn Point is partnering wi
 th the High Spot in Cambridge to create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere 
 to learn about marine science of local and national interest. Come early\,
  and come hungry and thirsty. Tuesdays from 4 - 6 p.m. the High Spot’s gas
