  low oxygen levels in coastal waters. This low oxygen\, or hypoxia\, can n
 egatively affect fish and other aquatic organisms. In this talk\, students
  of the MEES Graduate Program 2023 Issue Study Group will discuss long-ter
 m trends in the Patuxent River Estuary\, what is controlling these trends\
 , and what it means for the restoration and management of estuaries in the
  face of climate change.\n\n\n\nJoin us at the oldest state-supported mari
 ne lab on the East Coast to learn about innovative research being pioneere
 d by CBL scientists. Our faculty and graduate students are developing new 
 approaches to solving the environmental management problems facing Souther
 n Maryland\, our nation\, and our world. Each talk will be presented by an
