 is seminar will provide an overview of two long-term biological surveys th
 at are conducted at the Chesapeake Biological Lab’s Research Pier. These s
 urveys occur throughout the year\, providing data on the fish and small cr
 ustaceans that inhabit the shallow waters at the mouth of the Patuxent Riv
 er.\n\n\n\nJoin us at the oldest state-supported marine lab on the East Co
 ast to learn about innovative research being pioneered by CBL scientists. 
 Our faculty and graduate students are developing new approaches to solving
  the environmental management problems facing Southern Maryland\, our nati
 on\, and our world. Each talk will be presented by an UMCES scientist and 
 will inform the public about a featured research effort.\n\n\n\nTuesday fr
