 sung Marylanders who revolutionized an industry\, dreamed beyond their cir
 cumstance and still keep this tradition alive today. George H. Brown\, an 
 ambitious steamboat captain\, revolutionized recreation for Black Maryland
 ers in the early 20th century. See innovators like the Turner Family of Be
 llevue and present-day captains who have survived by shifting their busine
