 iological Laboratory's third annual Open House! This free\, public event p
 rovides a 'behind-the-scenes' view of exciting research and features demon
 strations and exhibits for all ages.\n\n\n\nThe Chesapeake Biological Labo
 ratory is located on Solomons Island at 146 Williams Street\, Solomons MD 
 20688. View a map\n\n\n\nThis exciting event provides a 'behind-the-scenes
 ' view of CBL's research activities and is the only time during the year t
 he labs are open to the public. Exhibits and hands-on activities  include 
 an aquatic animal touch tank\, liquid nitrogen chemistry demonstrations\, 
 dockside tours of the research vessel Rachel Carson\, piloting an underwat
 er robot\, and a scientist selfie station.  \n\n\n\nChildren attending the
  Open House receive a passport activity\, which allows them to earn prizes
  by learning about science as they navigate through CBL's different labs a
 nd experiments. Last year’s Open House was attended by more than 500 peopl
 e. \n\n\n\nFree admission. \n\n      \n\n\n\n    \n\n              \n\n
