Assistant Research Scientist
Mary Ollenburger is working as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the research group of Dr. Xin Zhang. She is based at the Joint Global Change Research Institute in College Park, MD, where she is investigating ways to improve the modeling of crop yield response in global integrated assessment models.
Mary received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Caltech in 2006, an M. S. in Crop and Soil Science with a concentration in Ecological Food and Farming Systems from Michigan State University in 2012, and will be defending her PhD thesis at Wageningen University later this year. Mary's PhD research explored pathways of change in farming systems in southern Mali.
