Graduate Research Assistant
Horn Point Laboratory
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, I developed my passion for nature in the city parks and by exploring the Outer Banks and Martha’s Vineyard as a kid. My desire to work with nature led me to pursue an Environmental Science undergraduate degree at Wheaton College in Norton, MA. In between Wheaton and Horn Point, I worked in environmental education, shellfish regulation, and non-profits to expand my perspective on the different ways one could contribute to environmentalism and sustainability.
At Horn Point Lab, I’m studying nutrient sequestration in restored living shoreline and bay grass habitats in the Chesapeake Bay.
