Bio

Michael is a master’s student working with Dr. Sairah Malkin and Dr. Andrew Thaler to build and test a benthic microbial fuel cell (BMFC). The BMFC will be used to evaluate if sulfide concentrations decrease near oyster biodeposits and other environmental impacts. Before graduate school, Michael worked a few years at Boeing in Washington state as an Industrial Engineer on the 777 airplane program.
