Students learn about oyster anatomy

The Society for Women in Marine Science's (SWMS) Horn Point Laboratory chapter invites students grades K-12 to spend a day exploring the life of a scientist!

The workshop will take place Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 10 am to 3:00 pm. SWMS members will introduce students to the wide, wonderful opportunities in the sciences through both indoor and outdoor activities where students can get to learn about tools scientists use to make discoveries and solve mysteries. The event will include nature walks, drones, microscopes, and many more exciting activities.

The event will take place at the Environmental Education Center at the Horn Point Laboratory. Lunch will be provided. Free to all; registration is limited and required.
