Dr. Clara Fuchsman, from the University of Washington, combines molecular and chemical techniques to answer biogeochemical questions. In particular, she studies the anaerobic nitrogen cycle. Her talk will be "The microbial N cycle under low oxygen: Incorporating particles into the paradigm” May 17 at 10am in the Coastal Science auditorium.
