Jim Brighton gained an appreciation for the environment while spending his boyhood exploring the woods and shorelines of Dorchester County. As an adult he decided to catalogue not just the local flora and fauna but all the plant and animal species of Maryland! The citizen science Maryland Biodiversity Project was born: https://www.marylandbiodiversity.com/    His talk is titled "An Introduction to the Maryland Biodiversity Project."
