Dr. Place needs to raise money to purchase the FlowCytobot and cover costs associated with operating it.
Our goal is $125,000. Every donation brings him closer to his goal. With some donations, once we reach our goal, you can become an honorary member of the Harbor Watchman team and even have lunch with the Watchman himself!
Algal Command Unit, $30
Did you know there is an algae plant that can actually eat other plants? Help our team study this harmful enemy in the water with at least a $30 donation and we will list your name among our list of supporters on the Watchman's website.
Wildlife Special Ops, $50
Harmful algae can produce toxins that kill the fish and wildlife that live in our harbor. Join our Special Operations team to protect our aquatic friends and we will email you quarterly updates about our progress.
Assistant Scientist, $100
Hundreds of thousands of images a day is a lot for one person to examine. Becoming an assistant scientist and receive some of the first photos from Imaging CytoFlowbot when we reach our goal. Plus, get updates about our progress and your name included with our list of supporters on the Watchman's website.
City Patrol, $1,000
Pledge your support to creating a happier, healthier city, and the Watchman himself will give you a tour of his lab, plus we will send you updates about our progress and list your name or an honoree on this website.
Deputy Watchcrew, $5,000
If we want to save the Baltimore Harbor and create a healthier planet, we need a deputy watchcrew who is committed to the cause. Donate at least $5,000 and the Watchman will treat you to lunch and give you a tour of his lab. Plus we will send you updates about our progress and list your name or an honoree on this website.
