All faculty, staff, and students at the lab are eligible for a computer account, which provides you with an e-mail account. Faculty, staff, and postdocs need to fill out a request form. If you are a student, please make sure your professor fills out a request form for you.  The Computer Services form can either be picked up outside the main office or printed from this PDF version. Please hand in your request form to the HPL business office.

We use G Suite (Formerly Google Apps/Gmail for Business) for our email system. You can login to https://www.gmail.com with your new UMCES email address and password.

If you need help with your account, please email hplcahelp@umces.edu, and the IT Services Team will assist you.

Email FAQ

Any emails marked as “SPAM” will be placed in a “SPAM” folder in your Gmail account.

Microsoft Outlook can be setup to sync Mail/Contacts/Calendar, but please contact the IT Services Team to set that up for you.
