Jack Gogarty

Jack is a part-time program assistant in the Office of Professional Studies. He has lived around the Chesapeake Bay his entire life, which has inspired his passion for environmental issues, with a particular interest in environmental policy. He completed an internship with UMCES OPS department in 2025.  He has previously assisted in research studying levels of NIMBYism related to renewable energy projects in communities across the country.
