There are three types of seminars held at Chesapeake Biological Laboratory.
- The Distinguished Scholar Seminar Series, held during the spring semester, welcomes scientists from the UMCES family as well as experts from around the country and world to host a presentation on their research area.
- CBL Brown Bag Seminars, held through the fall semester, offer students a stage to present their research to their faculty and peers.
- The Science for Citizens seminar series, which take place throughout the year, allows members of the public to learn about the innovative research being pioneered by Chesapeake Biological Laboratory scientists.
