Climate Change and the Water-Energy-Food Nexus: Three stories from the International Development Context
Dr. Miralles-Wilhelm leads the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES), an institution that plays a key role in providing sound science to help state and national leaders manage the environment and prepare the next generation of environmental leaders. He is an expert in hydrology and water resources, modeling of surface/groundwater systems and the water-energy-food nexus, and climate-hydrology-vegetation interaction. Dr. Miralles-Wilhelm also serves as the University System of Maryland’s Vice Chancellor for Sustainability.
