Workshop for students K-12 grades to explore the Sciences

The Society for Women in Marine Science (SWMS) Horn Point Laboratory chapter invite students K-12 to spend a day exploring the life of a scientist! The Workshop takes place Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. SWMS members will introduce students to the wide, wonderful opportunities in the sciences.  The day will consist of both indoor and outdoor activities getting to know tools scientists use to make discoveries and solve mysteries. Nature walks, drones, microscopes, and more! 

The event will take place at the Environmental Education Center at the Horn Point Laboratory. Lunch will be provided.  Free to all, registration is limited and required.
