Non-Credit Courses for the Public

UMCES offers self-paced online professional development courses designed specifically for professionals working in the environmental field. These are an opportunity for employees to expand their expertise, strengthen professional skills, and deepen their understanding of critical environmental issues on their own schedule. Each employee will also receive a digital badge that they can share and add to their LinkedIn profile.

Each course is $149 per individual. If you would like to enroll more than 5 employees in these courses, we can offer bulk enrollment pricing.

This self-paced online course offered by the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, the state’s leader in Environmental Science, will share how environmental data can be synthesized and communicated . This course is designed for any learner with an interest in effective data presentation and science communication. Learn the skills associated with creating socio-environmental report cards, the tool used to synthesize data into stories to both inform and engage.

Chesapeake Bay Grasses
