Chris Flight

Prior to being the MDSG Professional Development and Aquaculture Education Coordinator, Chris was a marine educator and a member of the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium education team.

He taught at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab from 2016 – 2021, where he brought his expertise on sharks and marine science in general to students, teachers and the public through outreach and educational programs.

Chris has a bachelor’s degree in marine science from Eckerd College and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of West Alabama.
