Bio
My research seeks to understand and predict coastal dynamics through physics-based studies of hydrodynamics, sediment transport, and morphodynamics, with a particular focus on nature-based systems and coastal resilience. By integrating multi-scale numerical modeling with laboratory experiments and field observations, I investigate the fundamental processes governing coastal evolution across spatial and temporal scales.
My long-term research vision is to advance the physical understanding of coastal systems and apply that knowledge to develop predictive frameworks for the design and optimization of nature-based solutions that support sustainable coastal management and climate adaptation.
