Kevin Bruce

I graduated at the dawn of desktop publishing and came to the web in 1998, falling for web design first and PHP soon after. Like a lot of coders, I built my own CMS framework from the ground up — spaghetti code and all — before practicality drew me to established frameworks. Over 25+ years I’ve designed and built everything from scientific web apps for the National Cancer Institute to in-house intranet tools. Today I’m IT Coordinator at Maryland Sea Grant, maintaining the Drupal site in service of Chesapeake Bay outreach.
