Bio
My research focuses on understanding the impacts of global change drivers—such as sea-level rise, climate change, pollution, and habitat fragmentation—on the distribution of genetic and species diversity across landscapes, how species adapt to environmental change, and how these insights can inform the restoration and management of degraded ecosystems. My research integrates fieldwork, laboratory experiments, and computational analyses, drawing on concepts from geography, genetics, bioinformatics, and ecological modeling. Additionally, I am deeply interested in how diverse stakeholder perspectives can be incorporated into biodiversity conservation. I believe that effective conservation is achieved when scientists, communities, and other stakeholders work together.
