Dr. Vanessa Vargas Nguyen is the Education and Research Integrator at UMCES and associate faculty in the MEES and MEM graduate programs. Her work connects transdisciplinary research, education, and stakeholder engagement through co-production to support socio-environmental governance, coastal and watershed management, nutrient and resource management, and socio-environmental assessments/report cards for the Chesapeake Bay and other complex socio-ecological systems.
