We are thrilled to announce the second Marsh Resilience Summit (opens in a new tab)! Since in 2019, Chesapeake Bay partners have invested in new conservation plans and restoration projects. Join researchers, regulators, and practitioners as we examine the latest science, explore emerging technologies, and consider forward-looking policies to achieve our region’s wetland goals.

The 2027 summit will take place February 9-10, 2027, in Cambridge, Maryland.

Across two days of presentations, posters, and facilitated discussions we seek to answer:

• How can we further wetland goals in the Chesapeake Bay through collaborative science?
• How can we enable conservation on private properties via policy, resources, new techniques, and other incentives?
• What actions and commitments can we make now to build capacity for plan objectives?
• How do we attract and train the next generation of tidal wetland stewards?
