Yumeng Pang

As the aquaculture outreach specialist, Yumeng supports Maryland’s shellfish aquaculture industry by translating scientific findings into aquaculture practices, and solving real-world issues in aquaculture farms with science-based methods. She provides farm visits, individual consultation, hands-on experiences in Demo Farm and assistance with grant writing for the industry. She also collaborates with the national Sea Grant Aquaculture network to connect Maryland’s shellfish industry with other regions, and works closely with Maryland Sea Grant to disseminate aquaculture knowledge to broad audiences.
