Chénira Smith

Chénira Smith is a Baltimore, Maryland native and two-time graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences and M.S. in Agricultural and Extension Education.

Working in the field of wildlife and outreach education for the past seven years she has worked as an Extension Agent with Maryland Extension, Zookeeper with Busch Gardens, Education Manager at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, and currently Outreach Coordinator at IMET.

The focus of Chénira’s career is to actively work towards bettering the natural environment and how people interact with it through research, education and engagement.
