Renee Arnold

Renee Arnold joined UMCES Chesapeake Biological Laboratory in the Summer of 2019. She currently serves as a Coordinator of Sponsored Programs, but was Executive Administrative Assistant to former Director Dr. Thomas Miller for her first four years at UMCES.

In 2014, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Maryland College Park. She then completed a Master’s in Management in 2022 from the University of Maryland Global Campus.  Before UMCES, she worked as the Travel and Event Coordinator for SESYNC and as a STAC Staff member with the Chesapeake Research Consortium. As a Southern Maryland native, she has had a lifelong appreciation for the watershed and environment. She has enjoyed supporting conservation and sustainability through her various administrative roles.
