Graduate Research Assistant
Horn Point Laboratory
Originally from Reno, NV, I moved to Anchorage, AK to study at the University of Alaska (UAA), where I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Languages (Spanish), and a year-long internship with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. During this time, I also competed on the UAA varsity gymnastics team. I moved to Maryland in August, 2018 to research the nutrient dynamics and associated water quality parameters that shape phytoplankton community composition offshore of Assateague Island National Seashore.
