NASA Astronaut Ricky Arnold, a Marine-Estuarine-Environmental Sciences (MEES) graduate in 1988, will launch March 21 in the Soyuz MS-08 spacecraft from Baikonur for a five-month mission on the International Space Station. During live satellite interviews, his adviser from Horn Point Laboratory, Bill Dennison, called in to ask Arnold his advice for current University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science students as they make their own discoveries.
